Optus has always been about connecting people. During COVID 19, a sense of connectedness and community has become more important than ever. We want to show everyone that Optus is committed to keeping Australia connected. So we teamed up with TikTok and top influencers to create two hashtag challenges that bring some optimism and fun during the world of lockdown.
As featured on Gruen and Mumbrella360, for a brand successfully engaging with creators to make ads that are native to the platform.

#NewInterns
Working from home can be challenging, however it does come with one serious bonus - free labour. Our families, partners, housemates and pets are around to help out. Suddenly we’ve got a whole new roster of interns to get stuff done. We ask people to show us how their New Interns are “helping” at home. Think kids checking spreadsheets on a tablet, housemates bringing coffee for that all important conference call, or the dog answering calls on reception.

Months without seeing the people you love; it’s been tough for us all. But as they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder. As restrictions start to ease we want to be there to bring people back together again. This challenge is all about celebrating coming together again. It’s a dance people can do to have fun with each other after months apart.
