The Aunties

The Aunties is a support system that inspires, protects and champions women of all ages and backgrounds across creative industries. That hosts mentorship programs, networking events and seminars.

In their first year of launch, The Aunties successfully matched nearly 300 women with mentors through the Speed-Auntieing event. They also launched the Mums on Call podcast and collaborated with Youngbloods on a project titled "Playing in the boys club: overcoming feelings of imposter syndrome," which aimed to boost the confidence of junior industry professionals. The part mentorship and part meet-up became a movement for change and all mentors and committee Aunties won Mentor of the Year and were highly commended as Champions of Change at the B&T Women in Media awards.

We created this film to invite everyone to the Aunties’ house party to celebrate.
